Strath Lumsden grew up in Dunfermline but considers himself a Killie boy at heart. He embraces life’s variety, whether it’s playing football, climbing Munros with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a matcha latte. Strath has a black belt in Taekwondo but now trains in Muay Thai, always eager to take on a new challenge. His passion for travel and connecting with people has led him to live in Toronto, Canada and Boston, USA, and he’s eager to see where his next adventure will take him.
Strath earned his first master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and is now pursuing a second master’s in Data Science at The University of Edinburgh. His goal is to contribute to the development of AI systems that address critical global challenges in clean energy and healthcare.
Whether he’s climbing a peak, exploring a new city, or working on cutting-edge solutions, Strath’s life is fuelled by a sense of adventure and a drive to make a real difference.
