Taz and Spud met in the early 90’s, at an ‘alternative’ music club in Plymouth, Devon. marrying in 1993. Eventually leaving the West County in 2014, they have since made their home in Helensburgh and having fallen in love with Scotland, have declared never to leave.
Both having a deep love of music, stretching from folk to punk and all points in between, they have travelled extensively following their favourite bands and musicians, at gigs and festivals across the UK and beyond.
Considering their combined Scots, London Irish and Welsh roots, when planning Taz’s 50th birthday celebrations the obvious choice was to hold a ceilidh, which brought family and friends together from far and wide, for a grand party soundtracked by the Borland Ceilidh Band.
