Alexander (Sandy) was born in Glasgow in the sixties, and spent most of his early life staying in Maryhill. After leaving school, and moving to the outskirts of Glasgow, he went on to work in the newspaper industry for over 30 years.
In his spare time he collects rare whisky, and you will either find him on the golf course, or climbing hills in Scotland, or in the Lake District in North West England.
