Written for Penny McIntyre of North Boisdale, South Uist. When Claire and I used to travel from Kilmarnock to South Uist in the late 1990s, we used to stop at Fort William to visit Penny, who was at that time residing there. I can still hear her exclaim, “Dia Dia!”
