Matilda Sevelin, born and raised in Solna just outside Stockholm Sweden, is an enthusiastic musician who plays the violin, accordion and sings. She studied folk music at Gamleby Folkhögskola in Småland, where she developed a deep appreciation for the traditional songs of the region. She also loves to play songs from the region of Dalarna, honoring her grandfather’s roots.

During the summer, Matilda loves to travel to various folk music festivals, connecting with fellow musicians and celebrating her passion. Currently residing in Delsbo, Hälsingland, she is surrounded by a vibrant folk music scene that continues to inspire her. She will never forget the amazing “veggie haggis” that John made during the festival “Bingsjöstämman”.
