Magnus Knasper Smedman was born and raised at his mother’s horse farm, where his
mother was a talented horse trainer. He started playing fiddle initially before meeting
a Swedish bagpiper and started making his own pipes. This led him to playing and
making the hurdy gurdy.
Magnus is quite possibly one of Sweden’s most talented fiddlers and is a regular at the
“FIS” festival in Västerås, Sweden.
