John Jardine Fergusson

John Jardine Fergusson, born December 15, 1958, at Clune Farm in Tarbolton, embarked on an extraordinary journey. Educated at Tarbolton Primary and Mainholm Academy, he left school at 16 to work on the family farm. Joining the Mauchline Young Farmers Club, he excelled in local and national competitions.

In 2000, he began a career at South Ayrshire Council, where he still works today. Beyond work, John enjoys amateur football and refereeing in Ayrshire Amateurs and Juniors. His passions extend to wildlife appreciation and poetry. His life is a rich tapestry of diverse interests and dedication.
