Fraser Rowan was born and grew up in Kilmarnock. With music being the constant in his life he started playing cornet in primary school. He continued with various brass bands into his mid teens when the lure of alternative music saw him switch brass for strings when he took up guitar. He was involved in a number of bands in Kilmarnock, enjoying meeting kindred spirits with a love of music and the burgeoning scene.
To date, music is still a major part of Fraser’s life. A modular synth artist by the name ‘Ty Lumnus’ he has several releases on a variety of labels.
He is also a resident DJ with Radio Buena Vida and runs a monthly live experimental electronic music club in Glasgow where he lives with partner Annie and their daughter Edie.
