Biography of Abigail MacKenzie

Abigail MacKenzie, a bright and driven 12-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, is already making her mark in the world of Highland Dance and beyond. A seasoned dancer, Abigail has spent the past 6 years honing her craft, and her dedication has not gone unnoticed. She has been nominated for scholarships by the Scottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance (SDTA) in each of the past two years, a testament to her skill and passion for the art form.

Abigail’s interests extend far beyond dance. She has a natural curiosity about politics and world events, immersing herself in the latest developments and eagerly exploring different cultures and traditions. Her inquisitive nature fuels her desire to understand the world and the people within it.

Looking toward the future, Abigail is considering a career in either neurology or nursing, with a particular interest in supporting individuals with neurodivergent diagnoses. Her goal is to contribute to the development of more effective treatment options, driven by her desire to make a positive impact on those in need.

With her energy, empathy, and ambition, Abigail MacKenzie is well on her way to achieving great things, both in her passions and in her career aspirations.
